The South East Europe Media Organisation (SEEMO) condemns the alleged smear campaign against Kosovo’s media outlets, particularly Nacionale (https://nacionale.com/) and Periskopi (https://www.periskopi.com/) by one political party in Kosovo. This campaign, which has allegedly included personal attacks on journalists, poses a threat to media freedom and the safety of journalists in Kosovo. SEEMO calls on the Kosovo officials to immediately denounce these alleged accusations and cease any actions that undermine journalistic integrity. SEEMO will be closely monitoring this situation to ensure the protection of media freedom and the safety of journalists in the region.
