Following the Rammstein concert at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium on Wednesday 26 July 2023, an Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) (https://orf.at/) reporting team encountered aggression and insults from Rammstein fans. The incident occurred after the concert of the German band Rammstein. The ORF TV team was targeted by aggressive fans.
During the attack, ORF music expert Dietmar Peschl and camera woman were verbally insulted and then physically assaulted. (https://rumble.com/v32ntm0-orf-reporter-von-rammstein-besucher-angegriffen.html) . The camera was damaged during the attack and the ORF team was insulted with antisemitism like “ORF Jews”.
For some time there have been allegations of alleged sexual violence against female fans by a Rammstein band member. However, connected to one case, the Lithuanian police decided not to open an investigation into sexual assault allegations against Rammstein’s band member. Around the concert in Vienna there was also a confrontation ensued between fans and opponents of the band.
