Journalists fund

SEEMO Journalist Fund in South East Europe is absolutely crucial for the press freedom, which is still under threat in many countries from the region. It is due to SEEMO, a truly regional network of editors, journalists and media executives, that their voices can be heard and their hardship exposed and brought to the attention of others. It is often beyond their means to pay membership fees and to cover the expenses of attending SEEMO and IPI meetings and conferences, which are important platforms for their messages. To ensure that these colleagues can attend an important meeting, SEEMO has created the SEEMO Journalist Fund.
